The Queen

Born - April 21, 1926. Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II has ruled for longer than any other Monarch in British history. She is much loved and respected all over the world. At 92 years old, she still works over 40 hours a week. She employs 1200 people, but feeds her own dogs.
In the 66 years she has reigned, she is known for her sense of duty and her devotion to service. Every year, at Christmas, she gives a TV broadcast. Last Christmas (2017), she said, "We remember the birth of Jesus Christ, whose only sanctuary was a stable in Bethlehem. He knew rejection, hardship and persecution. And, yet, it is Jesus Christ's generous love and example which has inspired me through good times and bad."
In her first Christmas broadcast in 1952, she asked the people of the Commonwealth and British Empire to pray for her as she prepared to dedicate herself to the service of her people at her Coronation. At her 90th birthday, she said, "I have been - and remain - very grateful to you for your prayers and to God for His steadfast love. I have indeed seen His faithfulness."
